Served up with potatoes and gravy, meatloaf is a great comfort food and sure to please the whole family. Meatloaf is simple to make and doesn’t take long to prepare -- it's ready to eat in an hour. With a little added here and there, you can even change meatloaf to suit your taste. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 1 1/2 lbs. of hamburger
  • 1 cup of saltine crackers
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can of tomato soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/4 cup of chopped onions

Instructions

      Preheat oven to 350 F.

      Crush saltine crackers until they are the consistency of grounded bread crumbs and fill up one cup.

      Mix hamburger, grounded saltine crackers, eggs, half a can of tomato soup, onions, salt and pepper, all into one large bowl.

      Remove the mixture from the bowl, place it in a baking pan and form it into a loaf shape.

      Bake in oven the for 50 minutes, and then carefully pour the remainder of the 1/2 cup of tomato soup on top of the hamburger loaf.

      Cook an additional 10 minutes, remove from oven and serve.
