Getting gum in your hair can be a sticky situation. There are a lot of ways to get gum out of your hair. Most people just cut it out. You can get gum out of your hair without touching a pair of scissors. All you need is some peanut butter and the gum will slide right off your hair. Because peanut butter is oily it takes the stickiness out of the gum and makes it easy to remove. You are going to wish you'd known how to do this years ago!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Peanut butter
  1. Step 1

    Isolate the hair with gum from the hair without gum.

  2. Step 2

    Place a small amount of peanut butter in between your thumb and index finger.

  3. Step 3

    Slide the peanut butter covered fingers over the gum.

  4. Step 4

    Gently pull the gum off of the hair. You can add more peanut butter if needed.

  5. Step 5

    Wash the remaining peanut butter out of hair when all of the gum has been removed.
