How to Decrease Cellulite's Appearance
Cellulite is a skin issue that affects most women, to at least some degree. This cottage cheese-like appearance on the skin is unsightly, and many women become embarrassed of it. Cellulite does not necessarily form as a result of being overweight. It is caused by a number of factors including genetics, lack of exercise and insufficient water intake, to name a few reasons. With some hard work and effort, a woman can help to decrease the appearance of cellulite on her body. Does this Spark an idea?

Follow a healthy diet. Eating lots of fruits, vegetables and lean meats will cut down on your overall fat and sugar intake, and will help your body to be healthier. Eating healthier will work to decrease some of the cellulite on your body.

Exercise your lower body. Doing cardio exercises (such as the elliptical or stair-stepper machines), biking or running will tone your lower body, firming your skin. Combine these exercises with weight training, squats and lunges to decrease the appearance of cellulite.

Drink plenty of water each day. Replace sodas and juices with water in order to flush toxins out of your system. Try to drink eight to 12 glasses of water per day in order to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Use self-tanner. The use of self-tanner will darken your skin, making cellulite less visible. Make sure to apply it evenly all over your body, so your darker skin will appear natural.
