Spaghetti Bolognese is a delicious treat and it really is quite simple to make. I can guarantee you will receive many compliments if you serve this dish. I designed my own recipe and it is mouthwatering.

You will need 1 pound of linguini, 2 pounds of meatloaf mix (veal, pork and ground beef), 1 large Spanish onion diced, 2 tablespoons crushed garlic, 1 teaspoon butter, ¼ cup olive oil, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, ½ cup of fresh chopped parsley, ½ cup white wine, 3 cups of tomato sauce, ½ cup Romano cheese.

In large skillet melt butter; add onions, garlic, salt pepper, and olive oil. Sauté for about 6 minutes, next add the meat mixture and mix together well, cook meat until brown. Next, add tomato sauce, wine, cheese, parsley and the rest of the ingredients and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Finally, cook pasta according to box directions (usually 5-8 minutes). Place pasta on large serving dish, add Bolognese topping and serve. You may add extra sauce if desired. I normally add additional parsley and cheese to the finished product.
