During the fall and winter, lots of people are getting sore throats. Use these couple simple steps to prevent a sore throat or to get rid of a sore throat! This is helpful to everyone who gets a sore throat.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Drink lots and lots of water. Try not to drink coke and other pops with lots of sugar.

-its smart to carry around a water bottle and fill it up threw out the day.

  2. Step 2

Try sucking on peppermints, or any type of hard candy. Try to stick with sugar free candy because the sugar will irritate your throat even more.

  3. Step 3

If you have a very sore throat, it helps to gargle salt water. It doesn't taste very good but gargle a full glass of warm salt water and your throat will feel much better!

  4. Step 4

Stay away from alcohol and smoking. This will irritate your throat more than it already is!
