What a Fun Project for anyone!
What a Fun Project for anyone!

My grandson loves stickers. But when we go to buy them in the store either he can't find ones he wants or they are too expensive to buy. Then I tried out this "recipe" to make homemade stickers out of pictures - any pictures! I thought - Why Not? It works great!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Cut out pictures from magazines, printed off the itnernet, wherever
  1. Step 1

Nothing could be easier than this project! It's great for a rainy day thing with your kids or grandkids - it's wonderful to use in a classroom or for homeschooled kids, heck it's a great project for just about anyone for that matter! Try it out!

  2. Step 2

Begin by combining the unflavored gelatin and the water in a small bowl. Stir to dissolve the gelatin until it is completely dissolved.

  3. Step 3

Take a small paintbrush and apply the gelatin mixture to the back of the picture. Let the picture air dry. When it is dry, all you need to do is lick it and it will stick!

Tips & Warnings
  • if you are using pictures that have been printed on photo paper, you may have to apply more "adhesive" than with a paper picture. Depending on the weight of the picture, this method may or may not work.
  • Get creative with your stickers. Use your home computer to print out images, cut them out from magazines or just draw them yourself. Then use your stickers for whatever you like! It's so much fun!
