Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • brown sugar
  • butter
  • flour
  • cinnamon
  1. Step 1

In a large mixing bowl combine 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar (you may use light or dark depending on your preference). Add 1/4 cup butter or margarine that has been softened. Measure 1/3 cup of sifted flour and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon.

  2. Step 2

Using a fork blend ingredients together in bowl until clumps are pea size. Be very careful not to over-mix the ingredients, as you will end up with a ball of dough and your crust will no longer be crumbly. A fork is the best method for mixing the ingredients.

  3. Step 3

If dough appears to be too moist, you may need to add a little more flour as you mix. When apple pie crumbly crust has been sprinkled over apples, back at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes!
