Place vegetables or other food that you wish to cook into the bottom of the waterless cooker. Do not add water or any cooking oils.

2

3
Place the pot on a stove and heat using medium to medium-high heat. Some models have an electric heating element; plug in an electric model and turn it on.

Listen for the whistle of the steam valve on top of the cooker. The moment the steam valve whistles, turn off the heat source and allow the food to cook for the prescribed time using only the heat that is trapped within the cooker.

5
Remove the lid of the cooker when the prescribed cooking time is complete. Use caution as there may be residual steam in the pot and this steam could burn. Remove the vegetables or other food from the pot and serve.
