How to Remove Copy Protection From Media Player

Windows Media Player, a preinstalled program that comes along with all Microsoft Windows operating systems, has a copy-protection function automatically set in place. While you cannot remove the copy protection for tracks already ripped, or burned, to your computer, you can take off the copy protection for future music tracks you want to rip to your hard drive.
