Softball is a sport played by men and women of all ages and talent levels. After a group of people decides they want to start a softball team, the task of finding softball uniforms for the team comes next. This process is one that is important to the team and should not be overlooked. A team with good uniforms appears organized and well-disciplined. A team without uniforms looks tacky and cheap. A uniform consists of a cap, jersey, pants or shorts and socks.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Talk to your team to determine what you want your uniforms to look like. Also, discuss how much you want to spend on uniforms and how quickly you want them. There are uniforms of all different styles and materials that vary greatly in cost. If time is a factor, some uniforms might take too long to order and make.

  2. Step 2

Look around your local area for sporting goods stores and other clothing stores that offer the service of creating softball uniforms. Look at their styles and prices and write them down in a notebook. Ask one of the store's employees if they're offering any deals on team uniforms.

  3. Step 3

Search the Internet for websites that sell softball uniforms. Check out the variety of uniforms they offer and how much they cost. Make sure to check how long it will take for the uniforms to arrive. Also, look at the shipping charges each website requires.

  4. Step 4

Compare the prices of the uniforms on the Internet with those at your local sporting goods and clothing stores. Talk to your team and discuss which uniform you want to purchase. Make sure you give your team all the pricing information. After you decide, purchase the uniforms quickly as you want to receive the uniforms as fast as possible.

  5. Step 5

Check the uniforms when you receive them. Make sure you received the amount and style you ordered. If everything is fine, distribute the pants, hats, socks and jerseys to your team members. If everything fits and everyone is pleased, your job is complete.

Tips & Warnings
  • When deciding between two sizes of uniforms, choose the one that's larger. A larger uniform will be much more comfortable.
  • When you compare prices between two companies, make sure to include shipping costs. Many companies offer cheap prices on uniforms, but their shipping charges are vastly overpriced.
