Step 1
Go to the dollar store and buy a pair of black reading glasses and a beaded lanyard. This should be your only investment in the costume, so the total cost is $2 dollars.

Have a look in your closet, and find a short, business-like skirt. Come on, you know you have one. If you don't, find a pair of business pants that are cute and show off your curves.

Step 3
Second, search your wardrobe for a button-down shirt. Now, you're going to wear the shirt a little differently - have it open a few buttons to reveal some cleavage, and if you are really daring, tie the bottom part in a knot to reveal some midriff as well.

Step 4
Next, get out some knee-high socks or some leggings of any color, and wear them with loafer style shoes.

Take a couple of books off your bookshelf to use as props - bonus points if they are books you can have conversations about!

Now you, my friend, are ready to go out on the town, and when people ask what you are, you just tell them that you're a "Sexy Librarian."
