Most of the time a big family get together is during funerals. It doesn't have to be this way any longer. It is so easy to get the family together if you plan for this event. Make memories that will last for generations to come.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Phone numbers Addresses Telephone Computers Stamps and envelopes Postcards Several people to help out camera's
  1. Step 1

Be sure and select someone like a leader to be in charge of this event. They must have several helpers because one person cannot put everything together. To have a real nice reunion it takes lots of people to become involved.

  2. Step 2

Get together everyone's phone numbers and addresses. If you can't get both be sure you run down at least one of them. Do not leave anyone out of this fun filled day. Buy up several books of stamps and invitation cards would be nice also. There is also the computer we can use to help out with this process.

  3. Step 3

The earlier you set a date, the more you can plan around it. Like for instance, start planning maybe 6 to 12 months in advance. People that are given a time frame can plan around their schedules. They can tell you if they can make it on that date. Be sure and tell them to put the date on their calendar for remembrance. Call the families again the closer it gets to the date.

  4. Step 4

Bring your camera and some games for the children to play with and sit back and enjoy the day. You deserve it. After you have the pictures developed, send them to the families to show how much fun everyone had on that special day. Try and get some pictures of every family if possible. This will be a job in itself. You may want to get several people to help you with this project

Tips & Warnings
  • Have everyone bring their favorite dishes. There is always so much food left over that it usually lasts all day long. There's no need to worry about the food, there will be plenty of this.
  • Let's just hope everyone in the your family got their invitations or phone calls. It would be terrible if we forgot someone on the list or didn't remember them at all.
