How to Pray to God Effectively
Praying to God is quite a personal moment that should be as easy as pie. We sometimes don't realize that God is there to listen and talk with you. Prayer is our opportunity to talk with God while working on building a relationship with him. But often times praying to God can be scary. You don't want to say the wrong thing or don't want to feel like you're not honoring Him. Knowing what to say or how to say it can be a problem. Learning how to Pray to God effectively is very important for all of our daily lives.

Praying with faith is the first step. Know that God will listen to your prayers and respond in a tremendous way.

Praise God in all His awesomeness. He likes to be praised. He is the Lord of lords, King of kings and the Lily of the valley. He's omnipotent and glorious. Just let Him know that you know He is.

Give thanks to God for all that He's already done for you. He's given you and your family life. He's sustained the earth in its atmosphere and extended life as we know it for one more day. You can mention personal thanksgivings.

Confess and repent. We all sin and fall short of what's expected of us and now is the time to confess and repent for those sins.

Intercede for others. Praying for the sick, the imprisoned and others is part of praying an effective prayer to God.

Petition God for what want. God supplies all of your needs and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Always seal your effective prayers with "In the name of Jesus".
