Make Jojoba Oil Hair Treatment to Get Silky Hair

I got this delightful-smelling hair treatment recipe from a hair cutting guide that I bought some years ago. It's meant to make your hair silky, soft, and shiny.

Jojoba oil is available at many health stores in the beauty section.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

To make this moisturizer, you will need to have on hand a medium-size jar with a tight lid, lavender, lemon grass, and rosemary essential oils, and jojoba oil.

  2. Step 2

Pour one cup of the jojoba oil into your glass jar.

  3. Step 3

To the jojoba oil, add 9 drops of the lavender essential oil, 5 drops of the lemon grass essential oil, and 4 drops of the rosemary essential oil. Put the lid on the jar tightly and shake to combine.

  4. Step 4

To treat your hair, heat 2 tablespoons of the treatment until quite warm but not hot enough to burn yourself.

  5. Step 5

Massage oil evenly into your hair and let treatment remain for 15 minutes. For very dry and/or damaged hair, wrap your hair (NOT your head!) in plastic wrap for 30 minutes and go sit in the sun.

  6. Step 6

Shampoo your hair to remove the excess treatment. Enjoy your rejuvenated, silky hair!
