Christmas is one of the most wonderful times of the year to share a meal and present with friends and family. This Christmas you may have a tight budget in mind, make your centerpiece the best gift of all by making it edible. Everyone loves tasty treats. They will love to sit around the table while sharing Christmas stories and snacking on your Christmas chocolate centerpiece.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

SKEWERS: To start this budget Christmas centerpiece first prepare the skewers, decide what you will put on them. You can put cherries, apple slices, individual pieces of chocolate candy, anything else that you would like. Melt a bowl of dark or milk chocolate chips and a bowl of white chocolate chips if you wish. Take the pieces of fruit that you are going to use and dip them in the chocolate. Dip everyone other one in the dark or milk and every other one in the white. Then place them on the skewer as you dip them. Place the finished skewers on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Place the baking sheet full of skewers into the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes to set up.

  2. Step 2

CENTERPIECE: For the budget Christmas centerpiece with Chocolate skewers, use a large Christmas vase. The vase should have a large opening at the top, it should be wide and not too narrow. Then you will cut a piece of foam. Place the piece of foam into the bottom of the vase.

  3. Step 3

PREPARE THE CENTERPIECE FOR DISPLAY: When you are ready to set up your budget Christmas centerpiece, take the skewers out of the refrigerator and start arranging them into the piece of foam so that they start to look kind of like a flower arrangement, going in all different directions so that everyone around the table can reach them.
