Step 1
Obtain permission for changes from the proper authorities in the office workplace if you are not already the one with the authority to make office procedural changes.

Clearly define the changes to office procedures in writing and keep a copy of the specific changes protected to refer back to in the future.

Distribute the documentation defining the new procedures to all who would have to make behavioral changes themselves in order to follow the new office procedures.

Send out email notices to all involved. Explain that there is a change to be made in the office procedures, highlight the change and mention the distribution of the specifics of the change. Note in that email the person to contact for questions regarding the changes.

Train employees who must use these procedures daily and begin to use the new procedures throughout the office.
