Changing office procedures is less about the actual office procedure change and more about informing the employees involved as well as dealing with the change management process. When individuals become accustomed to a routine, it is sometimes difficult to get them to change that routine. Creating clear definitions for changed office procedures is essential. Informing all involved of both the need to make the changes as well as the new methods they must use in this process is also fundamentally important to achieving office procedural changes.
