How to Program a Honda Keyless Entry

Have a seat in your Honda and close the doors, but make sure they are unlocked.

Turn your ignition key to the "On" position, labeled by two lines (II). Press the "Unlock" button on your keyless remote. Turn your ignition key to the "Off" position.

Repeat the procedure three times, and then turn the ignition key to "On." Immediately press the "Lock" button on your keyless entry. Listen for the doors to lock, and then unlock to signal that you are in programming mode.

Always replace the battery in the old remote first if it has stopped working. A bad battery may be the reason why it stopped working. Replacement remote batteries are usually less than $10.
