Instructions

    • 1

Pour a small amount of extra-virgin olive oil in a small container. Put the lid on the container.

    • 2

Fill the sink with hot water. Put the container in the water. Wait until the oil is comfortably warm, not hot. Test on your wrist before putting oil anywhere on your head.

    • 3

Drape the bath towel over your shoulders to protect your clothing. Fill the eye dropper with oil.

    • 4

Put several drops of olive oil on your scalp. Massage well.

    • 5

Put shower cap over your hair to help keep the moisture and heat in. Wait 10 minutes. Rinse and shampoo hair as usual.

    • 6

Repeat as needed (when your scalp gets itchy).

Tips & Warnings

  • Try to keep as much of the oil as possible on your scalp. Do not drench your hair in olive oil.

  • Be sure the olive oil is not too hot before putting it on your head.
