The LG enV is one of the most enhanced multimedia cell-phone devices available. It has downloading capabilities that allow you to add music to it without having to buy directly from the carrier's mobile Internet. If you have a music library on your computer, you're already a step ahead of the music downloading game.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • LG enV
  • LG enV sync cable
  • MP3 audio files
  • Computer
  • Media player
  1. Step 1

Connect the LG enV to your computer. Plug the LG enV's USB sync cable into the phone's USB outlet and into the USB port on your computer. The computer will detect the connection once it is stabilized.

  2. Step 2

Open your media player. Click on your media player's icon on your desktop. When the media player opens, your LG enV's model name, number and icon should appear as a removable drive in the left pane of the screen at the bottom of the list.

  3. Step 3

Import your music into the media player. Click on the "File" tab in the navigation menu at the top of the screen. Select the "Import to Library" action that will be listed at the bottom of the drop down list. When the dialog window opens, locate your music folder in the file directory. Highlight the folder and click "Add" or "OK." (This action depends on the media player you are using.)

  4. Step 4

Download your music to the LG enV. Click "Sync" in the navigation menu at the top of the screen. Drag and drop the music files you want to download to your LG enV in the Sync pane on the right side of the screen. Click "Sync" to begin downloading the music to your phone.

Tips & Warnings
  • Acquiring a memory card is the best way to store more songs on your LG enV. The phone's storage space is limited, so you will need additional storage space to keep your phone from operating slowly.
