Download the AVS Video converter from avs4you.com. Install the converter using the default options.

Open the AVS video converter and click the button "To AVI" located on the main toolbar at the top. This sets the output format to AVI.

Choose the WMV file that needs to be converted to AVI in the "Input File Name" field. Use the "Browse" button to locate your AVI file.

Choose the destination file name and directory in the "Output File Name" field. Use the "Browse" button to navigate to your desired destination directory.

Choose the default AVI conversion profile in the field "Profile."
