2
Write down a list of all the rebates that you are interested in.

-
3
Go to the places where the deals are and purchase the product. The store will usually supply you with the forms and instructions necessary to get the rebate
-
4
Fill out the information in the forms. Typically, a rebate form will ask you for your name, address, phone number and email.
-
5
Circle the item on the receipt that you want a rebate on, even if it was the only item you bought. Most rebate forms require you to do this.
-
6
Make copies of the receipts, rebate forms, UPC labels and anything else that the rebate calls for. Store these copies in a folder. Do not send copies of the materials unless the rebate instructions specify you do so.
-
7
Seal the items required for the rebate in an envelope. The items usually are the receipt, forms and occasionally the UPC label. Be sure to write on the envelope the address where the rebate is to be sent (typically found on the form itself).

8
Mail the envelopes containing the rebate forms and supporting information. You should receive your rebates within a few weeks.

Tips & Warnings
Consider sending your rebates as certified mail with a return receipt, so that you know when the rebate has been received. Organize your rebate list any way you wish. You may organize it according to store, price or how much you want the item. Some major retail stores have websites where you can download the rebate forms in case you lose them.
Since you're only getting back a small part of what you paid, you will not make enough money to support yourself doing this, unless other people buy the software for you or themselves and let you fill out the rebate. Be sure to follow the instructions exactly as they appear on a form; otherwise, your form may be rejected. It is important to make copies of everything the rebate requires, in case you need to dispute a claim or resend materials.
