Things You'll Need:
- Money for class
-
Step 1
Enroll in a Testmasters class in your area. Now, I truly do believe that anyone can study for the LSAT without a test prep class, it is all about time management and ensuring that you take the tests and practice your skills. If you are particularly bad with the Logic Games, you can use the logic games bible or you can sign up for a class.
-
Step 2
Do all the required homework for the class so that you can discuss any questions you didn’t understand. This is the beauty of a prep class, you have someone to ask clarification questions if you do not understand. I went from scoring about 5/25 in logic games to getting 24/25 right in the exam. I was truly amazed and it was all thanks to my prep class.
-
Step 3
Do not distress if you do not have a Testmasters prep class in your area, Powerscore offers a similar course that is also very good (many friends of mine used Powerscore and did well).
-
Step 4
Practice at home, in the evenings, on the weekends and in class. Study as much as you can for the LSAT, each additional test you take is one more question you can learn to understand and get right in the actual exam.
-
Step 5
Listen to your Testmasters instructor. They have specific techniques, tips and tricks to teach you in the class that will help you in the exam. I can’t tell you those tips because they are copyrighted to Testmasters but they are very helpful.
-
Step 6
I am in no way affiliated with Testmasters. I took their class and it really helped me and I wanted to share that knowledge with students who may want to take a LSAT prep class.
