How to Make Egg Carton Spiders

This is an easy, quick craft you can do with kids of all ages to help them get ready for Halloween.

Things You'll Need:

• Egg Carton Google Eyes Pipe Cleaners Markers Glue Scissors String

1. Cut the egg carton apart so that each "cup" is separate.

2. The "cup" becomes the body of your spider. Turn the it over so the open side is down against the table. Decorate with markers and google eyes. You can also use pieces of felt, crayons, or small seeds or beans if you have them.

3. Push the ends of the pipe cleaners into the body near the open edge. Bend the pipe cleaners down so they form legs and support the body of he spider, holding it up off of the table.

4. Hang by poking a hole in the top of the body and tyin string through it, tape to a wall, or simply place on a table or shelf. You now have quick, easy halloween decorations that your kids will be proud of having made!
