How to Remove Marker From a Wall
Kids create beautiful artwork that parents appreciate for years to come. When they use the wall as their canvas, however, we don't appreciate them nearly as much. Turn to ordinary household products to remove marker stains from your walls, then stock up on blank paper for your budding artists. Does this Spark an idea?

Dip a cotton ball into isopropyl -- or rubbing -- alcohol. Test a small area for colorfastness, then gently rub away the marker spots.

Squeeze a dab of toothpaste on a clean rag and rub away the marker stain. Choose paste, not gel, which may stain your walls.

Dab nail polish remover on the marker stain. If it doesn't erase completely, a gentle sanding and repainting may be necessary.
