How to add a new contact to I Phone

Having trouble adding a contact to your I Phone? Follow these simple instructions to be on your way to I Phone mastery.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • I Phone
  • Contact information for person you are trying to add
  • A photo that has been taken by or uploaded to your I Phone.
  1. Step 1

    First thing first, use the slider bar to open home screen of I phone and find the "Contacts" Icon (it is a brown Icon with the silhouette of a person), tap this icon to open contacts menu.

  2. Step 2

    Next you will want to tap on the plus sign in the right hand corner of the menu.

  3. Step 3

    Once the menu is open the top of the screen should say "New Contact". You will now want to tap on the tab that says "First name". Enter the contacts first name then tap on the line that says last and enter the last name. (If you want the contact to be in all CAPS tap on the white up arrow on the keypad. Once this information is entered tap the save button in the top right.

  4. Step 4

    Proceed to adding the Phone Number, email address and even change ringtone once you have returned to the "New Contacts Screen", if you would like to add a photo for the contact tap the add photo button on the left side of the screen and browse through your pictures.

    After all of the information has been entered tap the done button in the top right. Your contact is now in your phone and you may press the home button and continue to enjoy your I Phones many applications.

  • Be patient, the I Phone is not the simplest device in the world.
