This very spooky recipe will make delicious peanut butter eyeballs just in time for Halloween. Add a little fun and yumminess to your Halloween parties.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3/4 cup of Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 cup of shortening
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1tsp of vanilla extract
  • 11/2 cups of flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup vanilla icing or frosting
  • malted milk balls or peanut M&M's
  • red decorator frosting in tubes
  1. Step 1

Heat your oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together peanut butter, shortening and butter. Add sugars and mix well until mixture is nice and fluffy. Stir in vanilla extract and egg. Stir in the flour, salt, baking soda. Slowly add to peanut butter mixture and mix well.

  2. Step 2

Now its time to shape up your dough. Use the dough to create 1 inch balls and then use your thumb to flatten the top out a bit, making an indentation for the eyeball. Bake the cookies for about 6- 8 minutes or until light brown. After baking, allow the cookies to cool.

  3. Step 3

Fill each cookie top indentation with frosting and press the malted milk ball candies into each cookie center. Use the red frosting to make squiggles around the eye. This recipe makes about 4.5 dozen cookies!!
    Happy Halloween!!
