How to Make an Angel Craft from a Recycled Cardboard Tube

Angel crafts are appropriate for religious holidays, unit study projects and story props. Use a recycled cardboard tube to make this angel craft with your children, elementary or preschool students or Sunday school class.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Cut the cardboard tube down the center.

  2. Step 2

    Spread out the tube and use a glue stick to cover it in glue. Wrap the inside of the tube with aluminum foil.

  3. Step 3

    Cut out cloud shapes from blue or white construction paper and use a glue stick to paste them to the foil on the inside of the tube.

  4. Step 4

    Reclose the tube and seal with tape.

  5. Step 5

    Draw or trace a picture of an angel on the waxed paper with permanent marker.

  6. Step 6

    Secure the waxed paper over the top of the cardboard tube with tape.

  7. Step 7

    Cover the entire tube with paper and decorate using markers, stickers or other craft items.

  8. Step 8

    Look through your tube to see an angel sitting in the clouds.
