Look at your page and see if you can remove any videos or pictures. Too many graphics and large file sizes can make a site load slowly on even the fastest Internet connections.

Limit the number of friends and/or comments that show up on your profile as these messages can contain their own large graphics. Trim down the number of friends by selecting the "My Friends" option under the "Friends" drop-down menu and then choose "Top," "Online" or "New" to display just those people in that category. To edit comments, select "My Comments" under the "Profile" tab and delete any notes you no longer want to display.

Consider redesigning your profile if you used a third-party layout generator to create your MySpace page. These sites often put their own graphics and/or marketing codes in their offerings, which can take up bandwidth. You can redo a layout by using the MySpace "Profile Editor," which is found on the "Edit Profile" page.

Browse through MySpace using the "Lite" version. This setting strips away multimedia so that you can see simplified versions of profiles and navigate through pages faster.
