You have the option of setting up your Windows Live Hotmail account to be accessed directly through your email program, or you can choose to check your email remotely from the Hotmail website. If you like using the remote option but dislike having to type in the Hotmail web address every time you are ready to check your email, you can make the site your default homepage. After doing so, the Hotmail page will automatically open whenever you launch your Internet browser.
