How to Apply Pressed Flowers to Glass
Pressed flowers are dried and flattened blossoms that can be arranged into various compositions to create beautiful displays. A common way that you can use your pressed floras is to encase them between glass squares to create items like glass coasters. Using simple craft supplies and your ready-made botanical, you can easily attach the pressed flowers to the glass and create a truly distinct and eye-catching piece.
Things You'll Need
- Sheet of paper
- Pressed flowers
- Window cleaner
- 2 glass squares
- Craft glue, such as Beacon 527
- Toothpick

Lay down a sheet of paper and arrange your flower or flowers face down as you want them to appear under the glass.

Clean the two glass squares with window cleaner to make sure any debris is removed.

Use a craft glue that dries clear, such as Beacon 527, and squeeze a bit onto the sheet of paper.

Place the toothpick into the glue and apply a drop of adhesive onto the back of flower. Gently pick up and lay the flower(s) down on the first square of glass.

Place a drop of glue in each of the four corners of the glass square and then carefully position the second piece of glass over the original so that the corners match up. Press the pieces of glass together to cement the seal.

Tips & Warnings
You can use foil tape (available at craft stores) to encase the edges of the glass and create a decorative border.
