Instructions

Check the floor to see how level it is and then find the highest point. You will need to find the highest point on the floor or your cabinets will be uneven.

    • 2

Use a tape measure and get a measurement of 34½ inches from the highest point on the floor.

    • 3

Mark a level line on the walls for the base cabinet height. You will need to determine the case cabinet height before measuring for the wall cabinets.

    • 4

Use a tape measure to determine the height for the wall cabinets. The cabinets will need to be 19½ inches from the base cabinet height.

    • 5

Draw the cabinet layout on the wall for both the wall and base cabinets. The corner cabinet will need to have a plumb line drawn on the wall. The line will be based on the width of the cabinet.

    • 6

Mark the wall studs so you will be able to attach the cabinet to the wall.

    • 7

Place the corner cabinet against the wall so that it is flush with the plumb line. Check for level before securing the cabinet to the wall.

    • 8

Use a power drill to secure the cabinet to the wall using wood screws.

Tips & Warnings

Molding can be used to cover seams or gaps that appear between the cabinets.
