How to Get Rid of Bad Pimples
Bad pimples on your face can be both embarrassing and painful to endure. The swollen pimples turn red, fill with puss and can easily pop, leaving a potentially deep scar. A swollen pimple also tends to throb, ache and feel sensitive to touch or facial movement. Though an overnight treatment may reduce swelling, it takes proper, long-term care to truly remedy the situation. You will need to cleanse and treat the pimples twice a day for the best results. You may need to repeat the cleansing process for a few days or for the rest of your life, depending on the severity of your acne problem. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
If you find that your acne-fighting topical treatment irritates your skin or causes over-drying, try using it once a day instead of twice a day. Apply the treatment before you go to bed for the best results. This gives the clean skin time to absorb and heal. Applying the treatment only in the morning can reduce its effectiveness if you then apply makeup. If your pimples do not seem to respond to proper cleansing, you may need to see a dermatologist. The acne problem may be bad enough to require prescription medications and/or topical ointments.
Never use harsh or scrubbing cleansers on bad pimples. A harsh cleanser will strip away too much oil and cause an over-production of natural oil to compensate. A scrubbing cleanser will irritate your skin, aggravating any current pimples and possibly causing more pimples to form. Do not wash your face more than twice a day, unless directed to do so by a doctor. Washing your face more than twice a day irritates the skin and strips away vital oils and nutrients. Your body will end up over-producing natural oil as a reaction to the extreme lack of oil. This excess oil can end up making your pimples even worse.
