Step 1
Check your local papers for lesbian-friendly events in your area. Find something that might be of interest to you. Some businesses will have either gay and lesbian-friendly events or will be host to gay/lesbian happenings. Many cities have gay and lesbian film festivals, gay/lesbian days or nights such as DisneyLand's Gay Day, or special gay and lesbian festivals. Alternately, you can check the Internet for local events.
-
Step 2
Attend functions at businesses that cater primarily to gays and lesbians, such as clubs and bars. These can also be found online or in a paper.
-
Step 3
Check your newspaper for classified ads from women seeking women. Additionally, these ads can also be featured online.
-
Step 4
Sign up for free Internet dating to meet other lesbians that are searching for dates. Many websites are exclusively for lesbians, while others cater to people of all orientations. To enroll, specify which gender you're looking to meet, include your name and a small biography of yourself and what kind of woman with whom you feel compatible.
-
Step 5
Sign up for any and all lesbian-themed special events based on activities you might already do, such as skiing or biking. These can be found online or in papers as well.
