- A Blog or course- You can create a blog for free at www.blogger.com, this is where I made my blog. They have lots of cool templates and it only takes about 5 minutes to set up. www.typepad.com & www.w
- Time & Patience- You won't get 1,000 hits over night. Take the time to promote your blog with these tips and be patient. I got 3 followers to my brand new blog in 1 day, which I think is pretty good.

Step 1
Join a blogging community: Joining blogging communities is a great way to promote your blog.
MyBlogLog- A blogging community on yahoo. Allows you to customize your own blog profile, add your blog to the site directory, communicate with fellow blogger, join groups, and more! Every new post on your blog immediately displays on MyBlogLog for everyone to see. You must have a yahoo email account to join MyBlogLog.
BlogCatalog- A blogging community where you submit your blog, categorize it, and it is then listed in the blog directory on the site for anyone to see. You can join groups, become friends and interact with fellow bloggers, start a discussion about a post in your blog and ask people to visit your blog.
BuzzerHut- This is a one page submit. You submit you blog and copy & paste a code into your blog HTML to claim it. Your blog is then listed in the site directory.
Blogarama- You submit your blog to be listed in categories and subcategories. -

Use your blog as advice: I found this to be the most rewarding!
Yahoo!Answers- People are always asking questions...Is a post in your blog the answer?
Say someone on Yahoo!Answers asks, "How can I make money online?" And your blog is based on making money online, or you have a post in your blog about making money online....
This would be the perfect opportunity to suggest that they visit your blog!

Link your blog and blog community to Facebook, Myspace and other social sites: Social sites are a great way to promote your blog. Your Facebook & Myspace friends will see your posts and get interested, eventually they will visit your blog.
Your friends may also be inspired to make their own blog, then you and your friends can start your own blogging community!
