Step 1
Decide on your interests and expertise:
What are you good at? What are you interested in? If you could teach someone something, what would it be? Do you have strong opinions about anything?
Answering these questions will help you decide on a site topic and will also help you build you site's content.
Example: Let's say your are good at knitting sweaters. The winter season is fast approaching and people will need and want to keep warm. So your site topic could be "How to knit a sweater".
Now lets say you take a few pictures of the sweaters you knitted, you get quite a lot of traffic and people start to ask you if you are interested in selling your sweaters. You can set up a shopping cart & pay button with PayPal and allow people to buy your sweaters! ***You now have your own business! Of course all the profits will go strait to your PayPal or whatever online payment system you decide! -
Step 2
Design your FREE website:
There are a ton of web hosts on the internet! I have my site hosted at freewebs.com. They have a ton of great, professional templates to choose from. It only takes about 10 minutes to set up your website.
What I like most about freewebs.com is that you can choose to have a web store on your site. So for someone who is looking to sell items, like in the sweater scenario, freewebs.com would be ideal.
You can choose to use the free domain, Example: www.mysite.webs.com. Or you can purchase your own domain, Example: www.mysite.com.

Step 3
Open an Adsense account:
Google Adsense is a great way to make money with your new site. Google will place ads on your site and pay you every time someone clicks on those ads!

Start directing traffic to your site:
Easthits4u- This site is great for getting traffic to your site. All you have to do is sign up for an account and view other sites for at least 20 seconds. There is a 1:1 ratio, so for every site you view thats how much traffic you get! Easyhits4u also pays you $0.30 for every 1,000 site you view. They even offer rewards!
Linkreferral.com- Another great way to increase site traffic. Your site is ranked from 1-10. You can rank #2 just by visiting 30 other sites! -
Step 5
Promote, Promote, Promote!
This is one of the most effective way to get people to visit your site. Join website communities like Digg, StumbleUpon, and de.lici.ous. Make friends, post in the sites blog, join groups, and refer others to you site! -
