Step 1
Free Clinics
Access your web browser and look online for free clinics in your area. A great website for this is the main site for The National Association of Free Clinics (www.NFAC.com). Such a site gives you the opportunity to search for dental and medical clinics in your area. Upon finding a clinic, give them a call and inquire as to if they perform free or discounted tooth implants. -
Step 2
Dental Insurance
Check to see if tooth implants are covered in your medical insurance plan. Since tooth implants are such a pricey operation, they may not be covered by your medical plan. If you have no medical insurance or your plan does not cover such a procedure, consider searching online for dental plans that do include dental implants. -
Step 3
Dental Schools
Refer to your Yellow Pages phone book or look online for dental schools in your area. Call a few such schools and inquire as to if they offer free or discounted dental work. If they do offer such a service ask whether or not dental implants are one of the services they offer. Many dental schools offer affordable or free dental care which will usually be performed by a student under the supervision of an instructor. -
Step 4
Government Assistance
Call a few government offices such as the Social Security Administration and ask if they offer any kind of cheap or free medical programs. Many such government programs are available to low income individuals and families.
Also consider applying for a government grant to pay for your dental work. Such a grant is classified as a "personal grant" which are readily available to individuals.
