Things You'll Need:

  • Time Management
  • A Planner
  1. Step 1

Start working on the assignment as soon as it is assigned. Do not wait until the day or hour before to put it together. Starting early will ensure that you always meet your deadlines

  2. Step 2

Make a list of responsibilities that will help you meet your deadline. Decide if you need to call people to set up a speaker for a meeting. Determine if you need to begin looking for a conference room for the regional directors meeting. Find out if you need to call a group meeting to organize your class presentations. This list should be made as soon as you know what needs to be done.

  3. Step 3

Break down the task into manageable bits. Do a little bit everyday towards to deadline. By making the task more manageable, you are less likely to be overwhelmed by the assignment.

  4. Step 4

Be finished with the assignment a day or two before it was due. The quality of the work you present will be better if you do not stay up all night to finish. Finishing the assignment early ensures that you will have time to double check for quality in your work.
