Things You'll Need:
- 6 cups or all purpose flour
- 2-3 cups of water for making dough
- 4 cups of water for the broth
- 1 1/2 cups of soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. of garlic powder
- 1 tbsp of onion powder
- 1 tsp of ground oregano
- 1 tsp of ground basil leaves
- 1tsp of black pepper
- 3 pcs. of bay leaves
-
Step 1
In a big mixing bowl, put the 6 cup of flour and make a dough. I usually use 2-3 cups of water when I make dough. Be sure to mix your dough thoroughly until it becomes soft and lumpy.
-
Step 2
When you dough is done, emerge it in water. Fill the mixing bowl with water that covers the dough then set it aside for 3-4 hours. If you will soak your dough overnight the better.
-
Step 3
After 3 hours, wash your dough. Take out all the milky white substance from the flour until the water is clear. You will notice that the remaining of your dough is like an elastic substance. Cut this it into pieces and prepare them for cooking.
-
Step 4
In a large pan boil the 4 cups of water to make broth. Put all the spices in it. Garlic powder, soy sauce, onion powder, basil, oregano, bay leaves. Turn into boil in high heat.
-
Step 5
Add the cut meat sub into the boiling broth and cook it in medium heat for one hour. Be sure to check it once in a while. The flour will expand so, it is better to use a big pan to make room for it.
-
Step 6
When the meat sub is about to cook, pour 1-2 tbsp of olive oil over it. This will make your meat sub taste good. Let it cool and refrigerate it. Your meat sub will be ready for any cooking you want this to be used.
