Make Booties For Women Fashionable!

Booties for women are one of the best fashion additions you can make to your wardrobe. They're comfortable to wear, make you look stylish and are versatile enough to wear with dresses and jeans. But what do you do when you become tired of them? Customize them!

There are all kinds of ways to give new life to your favorite pair of women's boots. Here are a 3 ways to quickly modify them for a new look.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 pair of women's booties
  • Strips of faux fur
  • Lace
  • Rhinestones
  • Hot glue gun.
  1. Step 1

Faux fur is perfect for giving booties for women a luxury look. Measure around the upper shaft of the boots and then add a little extra to overlap. Use a hot glue gun to adhere the faux fur strip to the outer edge of the shoes. It’s a gorgeous look!

  2. Step 2

If you love Victorian Era Fashion or Gothic Romance looks then adding lace is another great way to transform booties for women in just minutes. You can use lace around the tops or cut out your favorite pieces of lace and apply it in a design. Black lace works well with black boots. White or ivory colors look beautiful on white boots.

  3. Step 3

Fashionistas who love the look of rhinestones can make their favorite pair of booties shimmer with light by hot gluing clear or colored rhinestones in the design of their choice. For a subtle look, try black rhinestones or black suede boots. If you love 80s fashion, then go for bright bold colors.

Tips & Warnings
  • Lay out the design on paper first in case you want to make revisions.
  • Black faux fur looks great on black suede boots.
  • Combine lace and rhinestones for an ultra feminine look.
  • Be careful, hot glue can burn your fingers! Use a pair of eyebrow tweezers to hold the sequins and lace to the boots.
