Think of a pizza without the sauce, and you get a pretty good idea of what sauceless pizza is all about. What makes sauceless pizza so good tasting is the varity of toppings you can place on it, such as fresh sliced peppers, chopped onions, mushrooms, garlic, fresh sliced tomatoes, olives, and any combination of meats - once you have tried sauceless pizza, you won't look back.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • i package ready to go pizza dough from delli (you can make your own dough, we do)
  • shredded cheese (your choice)
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 pizza pan
  • 400 degree oven
  • other toppings optional
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 400

  2. Step 2

Lightly grease a pizza pan and spread pizza dough onto it as if making a pizza.

  3. Step 3

Sprinkle one or more types of shredded cheese onto the dough (do not add any sauce)

  4. Step 4

Remove seeds from a green pepper, cut into strips, and place onto the shredded cheese.

  5. Step 5

Place into oven and bake until done. edges should be golden brown, just like a pizza.

  6. Step 6

Remove from oven, let cool a bit, and enjoy.

  7. Step 7

Other toppings for this could include crumbled hamburg, onions, different colored peppers, olives, and so on. A local pizza shop in town just started offering this and they call it sauceless pizza, but we have been making it as long as I can recall.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try sprinkling grated parmesan cheese on the dough first, then add your shredded cheese.
  • Be careful of hot ovens and removing or placing stuff into a hot over.
  • If children are helping with this, let an adult place it into the oven and remove it.
