How to Make the NetZero Web Page My Homepage

NetZero is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) that offers both dial-up and DSL types of connection. Although dial-up is not as popular as DSL or cable providers today, NetZero offers dial-up in the areas where no other services are available. In addition, the first month of service is free. You can also set your browser's homepage to NetZero for fast access.

Setting NetZero as Homepage in Internet Explorer

1. Open the Internet Explorer browser and click on the "Tools" option in the browser's menu toolbar.

2. Scroll down and click on "Internet Options."

3. Click on the "General" tab and type "http://www.netzero.net/" in the web address bar under "Home Page." If you already are on the NetZero web page, simply click the "Use Current" button. Click on "Apply" and then "OK" to set NetZero.com as your home webpage.

Setting NetZero as Homepage in Mozilla Firefox

1. Open the Mozilla Firefox browser and click on the "Tools" menu option.

2. Scroll down and click on "Options."

3. Click on the "Main" icon and select "Show My Home Page" in the drop-down menu next to "When Firefox Starts."

4. Type http://www.netzero.net/ in the "Home Page" box. However, as with Internet Explorer, you can click on the "Use Current Page" button if you have already surfed to NetZero.

5. Click "OK" to apply the changes.

Setting NetZero as Homepage in Safari

1. Open the Safari browser and click on the "Edit" menu option.

2. Scroll down and click on "Preferences."

3. Type "http://www.netzero.net/" in the "Home Page" box and then hit "Enter." Or choose "Set to Current Page" if you have already surfed to NetZero.

4. Click on "Change Home Page" in the confirmation pop-up screen.
