How to Convert DVD to WMV With Freeware

One way to watch your movies on DVD without the actual disk, is to take the file off the DVD and convert it into a format you can watch with a video viewer. An example of such a format is "Windows Media Video." This process of taking files off of a DVD is called "ripping." To make it all work, you'll need a program that can rip and convert your DVD for you.
