How to Design Your Own Tickets For Free

Organizations can save money on tickets for fund raisers, raffles, sales, games, entertainment or other events by making their own tickets. You can design your own tickets by following the steps below.

      Go to www.raffleprinter.com. Run the program by clicking "Start RafflePrinter."

      Start designing your tickets by adding text. Click "Ticket" or "Cover," go to "Text" or just right click and choose "Add Text." Type all the text you want to be shown on your tickets, such as name of your group or organization, address, phone number, permit and license numbers, and other needed information. Select the style you want, including the font and color. Use the mouse-wheel to change the size of the text. Left click and drag the text to position it.

      Add images to your tickets. You can do it directly from a web page or from your computer file. You need to have a permission to use a picture or logo from a web page. Right click the image and choose "Copy." Go to "Ticket" or "Cover" page where you want to put such image. Right click and select "Paste Image." Drag the photo to position it. You can also add a picture directly from your computer. Right click the ticket or cover, go to "Add Image" and select the image you need. You can resize, flip, mirror and rotate the added picture by using right click menu.

      Use the drop-down menu for ticket numbering, books and tickets per book. You can see the total number of tickets and pages on the right side of Tickets/Book.

      Put the paper on which you want to print the tickets into the printer, then click "Printing." Check the printed output by clicking "Print Demo" to see samples of your tickets and covers. It is recommended to do this before printing more. Also check "Printer Prints Face Down" if your printer will print facing side down. If no changes are needed, go to "Printing" again, choose "Print to File (Recommended)" and click "OK." Wait until it is done creating the file. Click "Open Print File" and it will show the ticket pages you made. Such pages are assembled in correct order for easy stapling, perforating and cutting. When ready to print, right click and select "Print." A small box will pop up showing the print settings. Make sure you select the printer you will use and go to "Page Range" and select "Page." Print in batches of pages by entering the range of numbers you want to be printed (i.e. 1-20). Click "Print" to start the printing.
