How to Use Media Player to Load Music to an iPod

The audio program Windows Media Player (Media Player, for short) can be used to load music onto an MP3 player. To load music onto an iPod, however, you must use the program iTunes as these devices are not compatible with Media Player or other similar audio software programs. This can be annoying if you prefer to use Media Player over iTunes or if all the music on your computer is saved in Media Player. Fortunately, an application is available that, when installed, lets you load music to an iPod through Media Player.
