How to Mix Neem Powder

Neem powder is a popular Ayurvedic treatment used in India for centuries to cure skin ailments such as acne, eczema, fungal infections, burns, psoriasis and hives.   • Purified water or olive oil

Instructions

      Measure 1 tbsp. of neem powder into a small bowl.

      Stir in enough purified water to make a thick paste. If you have dry skin, substitute olive oil for water.

      Spread paste over affected area, avoiding the eyes.

      Rinse paste off skin with lukewarm water after 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the severity of your skin condition.

Tips & Warnings

  • Neem powder can be added to bathwater for a soothing soak. Mix neem powder with castille soap and water and spray on garden plants as a safe and effective fungicide and insect repellent. Add neem powder to lotion for use as a mosquito repellent.
