How to Make a Gospel Karaoke Tape
Making a gospel karaoke CD has as much to do with having the songs as having the ability to create a CD. Online digital karaoke services allow consumers to download songs at extremely low rates. Still, effective use of CDG karaoke software or media player software on your computer is imperative. Please note: the more popular the genre of music, the more readily available songs are. Gospel music is one of music's bestselling genres, and artists such as Mary Mary, Yolanda Adams, and Donnie McClurkin sell millions of CDs. You can be singing their hits at your next church service.

Tips & Warnings
In the event you cannot afford CDG karaoke software, assemble your song list through websites such as www.ez-tracks.com, which has a large database of gospel songs. Download songs into your computer's hard drive. Import the songs into your media player and rip them to its library. Create a new playlist and rename it. Then, drag the songs from the library into that playlist. Load a blank CDR or CD-RW into your CD burner or hard drive (if it has a built in CD player) and burn the playlist to disc.
CD-RW's allow you to add and delete songs. CDR's do not. Some CDR's are not compatible with certain playback devices. Yamaha, TDK, Maxell, and Sony CDR's are known to be the best. CDG discs are not playable in CD players or on media players without CDG software.
