Things You'll Need:
- Scrap pieces of wood
- Gray paint
- Black paint
- Paint brush
- Hammer
- Nails
- Saw
-
Step 1
Get some scrap square/rectangle pieces of wood. I had some olt kitchen cupboard doors and they worked great. Using a hand saw or a table saw, trim the top corners so they look like tombstones.
-
Step 2
Step 2Cut some scraps of wood into long strips. (1" x 18") Nail these to the back of the tombstones so you can stick them into the ground.
-
Step 3
Paint the tombstones gray and wipe some black paint along the edges so they look old. You could do this with spray paint too. Write on them with black paint and a small art brush. Check out the clever sayings that I used.
