Things You'll Need:
- Scrap pieces of wood
- Gray paint
- Black paint
- Paint brush
- Hammer
- Nails
- Saw

Step 1
Get some scrap square/rectangle pieces of wood. I had some old kitchen cupboard doors and they worked great. Trim the top corners so they look like tombstones.

Step 2Cut some scraps of wood into long strips. (1" x 18") Nail these to the back of the tombstones so you can stick them into the ground.

Step 3
Paint the tombstones gray and wipe some black paint along the edges so they look old. Write on them with black paint and a small art brush. Check out the clever sayings that I used.
