Step 1
When you have no idea on what to give someone you first have to look at what they have. If they have everything that they could ever want, you need to give them something that they cannot buy. So maybe dig into your digital photo library, and buy a digital picture frame. Or create a movie about some of the memories that you have had together.

If you have someone that cannot ever be pleased or is know to bring things back that you have gotten them. I would either go with a gift card, or just cold hard cash. But make it more special then that. Wrap it up in something that takes them a long time go get to it so that they have the memory of trying to get it out.

If you still cannot figure out a gift for someone you need to go around and to some local specialty shops, or gift shops and see if they have anything that reminds you of the person that you are getting the gift for.

If you have someone that is really close to you and you cannot really afford something go give them. Go ahead and make some coupons of things that you will do with them or for them. Or maybe create a game that you can do together.
