How to save photos on iPhone

The Apple iPhone is a powerful media device. Two of the most important features on the phone are the ability to surf the internet via the Safari web browser, and send/receive email.

A helpful feature on the iPhone is the ability to save an image from a website or an email, directly to the phone.

This article will explain the steps necessary to save an image from a website, or an image received in an email message.

Instructions

1. Open the Safari web browser and navigate to the website with the image you wish to save or the email with the image you wish to save.

2. 

   Touch the image and hold for a couple of seconds until you see the "Save Image" box. (There will also be a "Copy" button which is handy if you simply want to paste the image into an email or MMS).

3. The image will now be saved in "Photos" under "Camera Roll".
