The Apple iPhone is a powerful media device. Two of the most important features on the phone are the ability to surf the internet via the Safari web browser, and send/receive email.

A helpful feature on the iPhone is the ability to save an image from a website or an email, directly to the phone.

This article will explain the steps necessary to save an image from a website, or an image received in an email message.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Open the Safari web browser and navigate to the website with the image you wish to save or the email with the image you wish to save.

  2. Step 2

Touch the image and hold for a couple of seconds until you see the "Save Image" box. (There will also be a "Copy" button which is handy if you simply want to paste the image into an email or MMS).

  3. Step 3

The image will now be saved in "Photos" under "Camera Roll".
